The roads of Playa Junquillal and its surroundings have yet to be spoilt by anything as bourgeois as pavement or street lights. Take a trek in a trusty 4x4 along the rocky paths leading towards the nearest city of Santa Cruz, and you'll soon discover how the phrase, "Eat my dust" might have originated. Beware: the bumpy roads ain't for the faint of bladder.

Most of the photos in this collection were shot along our way into Santa Cruz one day to pick up a few groceries and mail some postcards. Hey, mailboxes are so bourgeois!
